The deacons of Miller Heights have accepted
the call to serve the Lord and are seeking to
meet the needs of our fellow believers who
are the body of Christ. We seek to follow the
guidelines set forth in the Bible, including
Acts 6:1-6 and 1 Timothy 3:8-13. The
following are some of the services we
provide:

  • Visitation of the sick, the homebound, and
    those in a nursing home or hospital.
  • Contacting church visitors.
  • Assist the pastor in conducting the Lord's
    Supper services.
  • Serve as Deacons of the Week on a rotating
    basis to be called if a need arises.
  • Provide other servant functions as needed.
Every week, we have two deacons
who volunteer to take on any
additional tasks involved in
serving the needs of our
community of believers.
