| Welcome to MHBC Children's Ministry!!! The Children's Ministry programs are directed by Cissie Luce. Kids Pre-K through 6th grade participate in fun events & learning opportunities such as: * Sunday School classes starting at 9:00 a.m. * "Wednesdays KidStyle" Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.Boys and Girls 4 years old through 6th grade are invited to attend a mid-week event. We gather for Bible Study, Games, Music, Crafts, Missions and of course, snacks. * "Kids on Missions" Held on the 2nd Sunday evening of each month at 5:30 p.m, we have a children's event for Pre-K through 5th grade. We have games, Bible Study, music and videos, crafts and missions. A group also presents the Call to Worship for the Adult Evening Service at 6:00p.m. |
| SOUTHWEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GOOD NEWS CLUB! Boys and Girls who attend Southwest have the opportunity to participate in our Good News Club every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. A large number of kids are attending, so we covet your prayers! |

| Fall Festival A Success! Our Fall Festival, "the Great Tomb Raid", for the children and families was held on Saturday, October 1st, at Overlook Park beside Belton Dam. Please pray for the families who attended and heard the message of our Risen Lord! And thanks to all who helped to make this event a ministry to the kids in our community. |

| Operation Christmas Child Packing Party A Success! We had a wonderful turnout for the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party on November 8th. 65 children of all ages and 25 adults teamed together to pack over 100 gift boxes! Everyone enjoyed a Christmas Celebration of songs and fun while working to share the Good News of Jesus in a small box. |
| The “One Starry Night”, Family Christmas Event, Was Performed on Sunday Evening, Dec. 11th! It is our hope that you were blessed by the efforts of our Children's Department and the many adult workers who helped make it happen. Attendees walked through shops, enjoying the fun of games, crafts and food. The evening ended with a live Nativity and everyone singing with Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus! |
| URGENT NEED! Wednesday transportation for youth and children needs help immediately! Our church is sending two vans out full of children and youth with women drivers and NO riders. They are alone driving in the dark, picking up and taking home. This is not safe for the driver or the passengers. Please pray – but don’t stop there! Please put action in your prayers! Call the church office if you are led to answer the Lord’s call. |
| Children’s Valentine Party! We are having a valentine party for 4 yr. olds thru 2nd grade on Saturday, February 11th, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church. We will have games, crafts, and treats. The 3rd & 4th grade girls will be helping with this event. |
