Music Ministry
Kathi Morehouse: Music Director/
    Pianist
The music ministry at MHBC currently consists of a Children's Music Class, a Praise
and Worship team, and an Adult Choir. The Adult Choir includes a large range of
ages from 14 to 80 something. The choir prepares and sings an annual Christmas
and Easter musical. We are now meeting for practice on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m., just
prior to the midweek Bible Study/Prayer Gathering at 6:00 p.m. We encourage you to
come and make a joyful noise!
Student Ministry
Jeff Burns:  Student Minister
Youth ages 7th through 12th grade are welcome to attend Sunday School and
Wednesday Youth Worship in the Shed.  We offer our teens a chance to worship
God through Bible study, peer discussions, games, and fellowship.  Come join us
for a wonderful time!
(Youth facilities are located at the back of the church property in "the Shed".)
Children's Ministry
Cissie Luce: Director
Offers weekly, monthly, and quarterly events for children of all ages up through 6th
grade. Each event is filled with games, activities, crafts, and studies that will help
them develop a great relationship with God and His Son. The children have Sunday
morning classes starting at 9:00 a.m., and the Wednesdays KidStyle events at 6:00
p.m. The vans provide transportation. For further information, you may contact

Deacon/Servant Ministry
Kenneth Janeway: Chairman
The deacons of Miller Heights have accepted the call to serve the Lord and are
seeking to meet the needs of our fellow believers who are the body of Christ.
Each week, two men serve as Deacons of the Week. Please refer to the current
church bulletin or call the church office at 254-939-1835.
Discipleship Training
Laura Mae Peters: Director
Men and women of all ages are invited to attend this biblically-based training each
Sunday evening at 4:30 p.m.
Please join us as we discover what God's Word has to say to believers.
Ladies Night Out
Lindsey Tyler: President
Ladies of all ages gather on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. for a great
time of fun and fellowship.  Each month, hostesses prepare a great meal.  After a
short devotion, we work together on mission projects, fun crafts, or other monthly
projects.  This great group of ladies share experiences and offer encouragement
for our daily walk.  Come join us!
Men's Prayer Breakfast
Roy Fowler:  Coordinator
Each Saturday at 7:00 a.m., the men meet in the Fellowship Hall for a breakfast
fellowship, prayer time, and Bible study.
Nursing Home/    
Homebound Ministry
Yvonne Tindle: Director
On the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m., visits are made to those in area
nursing homes and to those who are homebound.  Blessings are received by those
who are visited as well as those who go on the visits.
Nursery Ministry
Shauna Seale: Director
Children from birth to 3 years of age are invited to join us in God's Garden where
they will enjoy Bible stories, songs, and activities. We are available during all
worship services and the Sunday School hour.
Women on Mission
Penny Reveile: WMU Director
Women age 18 and up meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.  Bible
study, prayer for missionaries, local and abroad, and fellowship are on the agenda.
Young at Heart
Mary Ann Maddux: Director
Enjoy great fellowship at our meetings at 11:30 a.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each
month.  Men and women age 55 and up are invited to join us in a potluck lunch
followed by a program which includes enlightening speakers and/or special music.
Each month is something different and rewarding!
